Robert Nations

Robert Nations began his study of self-cultivation and healing in 1983 under the tutelage of Warren Gold. For five years he studied the use of herbs, energetic healing and cultivation as well as character development.

From 1989 to 2002 Robert furthered his education at the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego under the guidance of Bill Helm, BS, HHP. There he was trained in the philosophy and practices of Taoism. This included learning from Grand Master Abraham Liu (Yang Style Taijiquan), Grand Master Chen Xiao Want (Chen Family Taijiquan), Taoist Priest Sifu Share K Lew (Taoist Elixir System) and Ted Kardash, PhD. MFT. In 1995, Robert received the honorific title of Tao Shi and in 1996 his Tui Na massage certificate from the Taoist Sanctuary.

In 1997, Robert was introduced to Dr. Xie Peiqi and Andrew Nugent-Head and began to study the Yin Fu Bagua system of healing and martial arts. This included an intensive training in Beijing, China in 2000.

During the years of 1993-2004, Robert studied the Alexander Technique with Maria Carrera and Ari Gil. This helped with the integration of all the previous training he had received.

Robert received his Asian Body Therapist certificate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2003. He currently teaches at Pacific College, is a member of the National Qi Gong Association and maintains a private practice in San Diego.
