Obstetrics and gynecology constitute a very large part of any acupuncturist’s practiceas women usually make up two-thirds of our patients. This workshop will discussthe nature,physiology and pathology of the 4 phases, and may offer some views thatdiverge from the conventional one. Specific problems such as endometriosis, poly-cystic ovary syndrome, and problems of pregnancy (morning sickness, abdominalpain, urinary problems,threatened miscarriage,constipation, recurrent miscarriage)will be discussed.
