The practice and application of the Meridian Test

Viewing the regular and extra meridians from the perspective of movement, they can be seen to comprise an interactive network which serve to balance and integrate all movements large and small. The best meridians to treat can be pinpointed using a sequence of movements to test the flexibility and integrity of each of the meridians on both sides. Students will learn to relationship between meridians and movement, how to apply the Meridian Test, and how to determine the most effective points to treat on the indicated meridians. The process of treatment using the Meridian Test will be demonstrated and students will have the opportunity to practice this assessment and treatment protocol. On the second day of the seminar the added dimension of Yin-Yang Cross Over treatment strategies and Five Phases point combinations will be introduced. Also managing pain and dysfunction related to spinal misalignment, old injuries, and surgeries will be presented. Treatments using Huato Jiaji points will be demonstrated and students will have the opportunity to learn this treatment strategy through hands-on practice.
